philips: Octode Super 510A

I am restoring a Philips Octode Super 510A. Under the case there are sheet metal rails between the wooden legs. They seem to have held maybe some documents or manual.

Can anybody shed any light on the function of those rails.

Hard to say but a suggestion is that the radio has been mounted on the wall by shelf consoles

I am not sure if any wall fasteners would have been used that way. The metal parts have a flare-out to the front suggesting that something would be inserted from that direction.

Wall supports are more likely to inserted from the back,
