Philips - Bratpfanne Loudspeaker 2003

I have just acquired a "bratpfanne" - I think its a model 2003 ~40cm diameter.
The speaker cable has 3 wires.
Is it possible to select the impedance of the speaker ? If so, what are the impedances ?

I have looked at the French Service Documentation on this site but apart from mentioning 2 or 3 wire cables there was no discussion (or diagram) on what the difference was.
