Greetings,

I am new here and new to radio electronics.

I would like to work on an RCA RCL86LK solid state radio.

It is in nice shape and functioning but it is slightly hard to get a station fully tuned in.

Once it is tuned in it usually drifts a little over time.

Please inform me of what my first step would be in improving it's performance.

What tools will I need to get started?

All I have is a basic multimeter.

Thanks to anyone who will help,

Joe
