After 25+ years in the aerospace industry and elsewhere, I finally broke down and opened my own vacuum tube radio repair shop. April 2007 marked my first year as a full time shop. (Having been doing this part time in the garage for the past 10 years or so.

Standard shop rate is currently $65.00/hour.

Primarily I work on vintage tube radios but have been known to fix the odd appliance or two along with guitar amps, and vintage amateur radio equipment.

I recently added plastic and metal reproduction parts to my offerings. This includes copying knobs and making new dial covers made with an industrial vacuum forming machine. In the near future I'll be adding silk screening.

Estimates are free as is technical advice. Visitors are always welcome.

Located near Los Angeles International Airport.
Posted hours are from 11 AM to 7 PM Monday through Friday, but I seem to spend most of my weekends here as well.
