braun: SK2/2U question

Hello everyone,

I have recently restored a Braun SK2/2 (non-export model), and I enjoy it very much. I live in North America, however, and I would love to extend the range to the full FM range of 87-108MHz supported by the SK2/2U. Does anyone have any schematic or circuit information for the SK2/2U? Was it identical to the SK2/2 but had different VHF range trim and coil adjustments to broaden the range?

Recently I uploaded Braun SK 22 U schematic. I found they just changed C15 (Osc.) from 16pF (Europe) to 12pF (US-Version). Hope that helps You.

That is very useful information. Changing the C15 capacitance and the coil settings should make the range broader. I am assuming that C9 is the same part as on the regular SK 22. You don't happen to know if there were ever service instructions for this radio in english (given that this SK22U schematic is also in english). I've been working with the german version but the FM scale alighment doesn't make much sense when using Google Translate.
