Dear all,
we have one question by a writer about aviation history of the First World War. Since he helps for a military museum (Museo Baracca di Lugo di Romagna), he asks for any information about this military set, with a metallic plate in which the following name is engraved: "Telefunken DRP AFS 35 N° 7620". This is apparently a German set.
A picture is attached.
Does anyone know it?

With the book "Kommerzielle Nachrichtengeräte von 1914 bis 1945", Gerhard B. Salzmann [578] I will be able to bring the model in. And the info above helps further.

Hallo,
I found some useful informations in the books from Trenkle,F.,
I could provide You a scan from the pages but unfortunately it's all in german...
(contact me by mail)

The Aircraft Transmitter seems to be an early model, probably 1915 / 1916,
hope that helps

Dear martin - just click above "To model" and you will see that we have it for 1915 ... ;-)
The message I received from Paolo: ... this radio set belonged to the plane serial 3955/17, that crashed near Orsago on November, 7, 1917.

It would be nice not to send the scan but to upload it - if it shows more than we published, please put it into the remarks of the model.

Today I spoke to the widow of Gerhard Salzmann, the author of the said document (manuscript of around 400 pages), and she is willing to give us that right. I have put this as a reference and we would have to find members who like to bring in step by step these new models. I hope we are succesful. It is a precious work, Mr. Salzmann did, but it could not go so far to be printed. This way we could publish in his name (reference).
