INTERESTING ACHIEVEMENT

SUCCESSFUL RADIO CIRCUIT

DESIGNED FOR N.Z. CONDITIONS

Mr. W. J. Sexton, who is associated with the well-known firm of mechanical engineers, Messrs. Sexton Motors, Lower Albert Street, and who, 16 years ago, was the first to have a radio set in New Zealand, is to be commended for his successful enterprise in designing and constructing a radio receiver suitable for local conditions.
Conditions all over the world vary, and a great many radio sets which are imported into this country, were specially designed to suit conditions prevailing in the country where they were manufactured, and it is obvious to those who go into this matter thoroughly, that sets, for instance, manufactured in other countries, were never intended to fulfill the duties and service which have to be imposed, and which cannot rightly be expected of them when they function here in New Zealand. And so it was that Mr. Sexton, who is a skilled engineer, set to work to construct a set which would bring better broadcast reception to the home.

The "Sexton Super," three and six-valve radio receivers are the result of his arduous task, and as it has already been suggested, Mr, Sexton is deserving of the highest possible praise. The "Sexton Super" six sets master that difficulty which so many listeners have to contend with, that of cutting out the local station, 1YA, and it is amazingly efficient in this successful operation. Proud owners of the "Sexton Super" are loud in their praises and each considers that he has at least the most efficient radio set yet demonstrated in Auckland. Each set has an unconditional guarantee, which speaks well of the high qualities possessed by this magnificent feat of skillful engineering. These "Sexton Supers," which Mr. Sexton produces, are obtaining unbeatable results, and customers who are desirous of owning a really reliable radio set, should not fail to avail themselves of the opportunity before the holidays of receiving Mr. Sexton's advice and free instruction. These sets are not expensive, in fact, the prices are most reasonable. The prices compare more than favorably with other makes being sold this Christmas.

Mr. Sexton is in attendance daily at his showrooms, Lower Albert Street, and he is only too pleased with any time to give advice to any radio enthusiast.
