Short Description

Popular Electronics including Electronics World came into being with a merger of the two magazines: Popular Electronics and Electronics World. Its first issue was in January 1972. Its content ran the gambit of electronics: CB radios, Hi-Fi audio, amateur equipment, auto radio, antennas, test equipment, general electronics and more. Alomg with articles, the magazine contained test reports on various equipment. The magazine later dropped the "including Electronics World" part of its title.

It is interesting to note that Popular Electronics including Electronics World has its roots from Radio News, going back to 1919.
