Das Radiomuseum von Bad Tatzmannsdorf ist auf Initiative von Anton Hiebl aus Bad Tatzmannsdorf entstanden. Mitte der 1970er Jahre hatte er mit dem Sammeln von Radioapparaten begonnen, zunächst nur, um die eigene Sammlerleidenschaft zu stillen. Mittlerweile nennt er etwa 500 Radioempfänger sein Eigen. Anton Hiebl ist stolz darauf, dass die meisten Geräte heute noch funktionieren, obwohl die ältesten aus den 1930er Jahren stammen.
Längst war es an der Zeit, seine Prachtstücke der Öffentlichkeit nicht mehr vorzuenthalten. Also beschloss Anton Hiebl im Jahr 1990, seine Sammlung in ein eigenes Radiomuseum umzuwandeln. Gern zeigt nun Anton Hiebl seine umfangreiche Sammlung historischer Radiogeräte von den Anfängen des Rundfunks bis zur Gegenwart.
