Das Schifffahrtsmuseum Spitz bietet Ihnen eine große Auwahl an Originalobjekten aus der Blütezeit der Holzschifffahrt und Flößerei. Die präzise gebauten Modelle präsentieren sich in den alten Gewölberäumen in modernen Glasvitrinen. Auch Audio- und Videostationen stehen dem Besucher für Informationen zur Donauschifffahrt zur Verfügung.

Neben der Geschichte der Schifffahrt wird dem Besucher auch das Leben der Schiffleute, des Adels und des Kaiserhauses näher gebracht.
