Description Textausug aus NOEmuseen.at 11/2011:

4 Räume: Landwirtschaftliche Geräte und Ausstellungsstücke aus dem bäuerlichen Leben; Objekte zur Stadt- und Wirtschaftsgeschichte; Geologie (mit Schwerpunkt Granit und Granitförderung sowie -bearbeitung); Glaserzeugung; Torfabbau; Exponate zur Textilerzeugung (Weberei).

Das Heimatmuseum Schrems wurde am 30. April 1966 gegründet. 1983 widmete man sich wieder verstärkt dem Museum, das nach der Sanierung der ehemaligen Volksschule als "Heimatschau" wiederaufgebaut werden konnte und am 26. Oktober 1986 eröffnet wurde.
