The Motor Museum was situated right behind Darling Harbour and a few blocks away from the Powerhouse Museum. tripadvisor.com: 3/30/18...We were looking for the Harris Street Motor Museum, which still has a lot of google hits, and used to exist. The Harris Street Motor Museum location has been converted to condos (!) for some years now, so we proceeded to the Powerhouse Museum, about four blocks away. There, we were told that the Powerhouse Museum has some of the former Harris Street Motor Museum collection now, at a different location. Apparently the former Harris Street Motor Museum collection is still being sorted out by the Powerhouse Museum on a time available basis, and is available for viewing one or two days a week while they get it together. Ring the Powerhouse Museum to verify that the story hasn't changed. Date of experience: March 2018 |
