Description

REDWATER CREEK STEAM AND HERITAGE SOCIETY

currently has over 1km of track and full rail safety accreditation under the Tasmanian Government’s Rail Safety Act to operate our heritage railway. Our steam train is hauled by a 1906 Krauss 610mm gauge loco and consists of Tasmanian heritage coaches – still going strong after 100 years!

Kids love the sound of the whistle, the powering up of the steam, and the rhythm of the train on the tracks. Some might even get a chance to blow the whistle, or help to move the loco engine when back at the station.
