Description

For André Janssens, the passion started at the age of eleven with the repair of a radio. “Making life again”. For André, this is where the pleasure lies in repairing old, broken radios.

André not only got hold of the bug to restore these old radios, but also to collect them. In the meantime, the collection has 6000 copies, of which almost 2000 are on display in the museum.

In short, André has an immense and exceptional collection of old radios that are definitely worth a visit

Voor André Janssens begon de passie op elf-jarige leeftijd met het herstellen van een radio. “Van een dode een levende maken”. Daarin zit voor André het plezier in het herstellen van oude, kapotte radios.

André kreeg niet enkel de microbe te pakken om deze oude radio’s te herstellen, maar ook om ze te verzamelen. Ondertussen telt de verzameling 6000 exemplaren waarvan er een kleine 2000 tentoongesteld staan in het museum.

Kortom, André beschikt over een immense en uitzonderlijke collectie oude radio’s die zeker je bezoekje eens waard zijn
