The automobile museum is a museum Mahymobiles Leuze-en-Hainaut in Belgium. History The museum opened in 1997 after purchasing the old factory Ernaelsteen by the municipality. The first part of this collection is a Model T that Ghislain Mahy bought in 1944. Today it totals some 1000 vehicles: Ford, Cadillac, De Dion, Rochet-Schneider, Benz, Daimler, Minerva, 250 Lincoln which are at Leuze. Descriptive The museum traces the history of the automotive world of 1895 to the present day and its collections are of great diversity. An education room is dedicated to the mechanics. Other miniatures show, a retrospective of two wheels, or the evolution of the body and raids. A mini-track is designed for children from 2 to 7 years and a snack bar offers cold drinks. |
