Description

Im Nachgang des Bauhaus-Stils revolutionierte der Apparatehersteller Braun in den 50er-Jahren die Industrieprodukte. Egal um welchen Gebrauchsgegenstand es sich handelte, hinter dem schlichten, selbsterklärenden Design stand die Firma Braun. Dazu meint Professor Dieter Rams (Chefdesigner): 'Mein Ziel ist es, alles Überflüssige wegzulassen, damit das Wesentliche zur Geltung kommt.'
Grund genug für Joan und Rolf Billing, all diese Gegenstände zusammen zu tragen und der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich zu machen.
