Grandson Castle (French: Château de Grandson) is a medieval castle in the Swiss municipality of Grandson in the canton of Vaud. It is a Swiss heritage site of national significance

Grandson station. Direct line from Lausanne, Yverdon-les-Bains or Neuchâtel. National line with change at Yverdon-les-Bains, for a train or post bus.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The Castle of Grandson is undergoing major heritage renovation until 2026 as it will host a new history museum as well as exhibition and new reception areas. The site will remain open throughout the project.

The Castle of Grandson rooms are closed to public until 2026.The Automobile Museum is closed, and the arms and armour collections are sheltered and won’t be visible for the duration of the works.

In order to offer you an optimal visiting experience and to ensure your safety on the site during this transition period,the interiors of the monument are only accessible with a guide.
