Willingen (Upland) ist eine Gemeinde im Upland, dem nordöstlichen Teil des Rothaargebirges. Sie gehört zum nordhessischen Landkreis Waldeck-Frankenberg und grenzt direkt an den Hochsauerlandkreis in Nordrhein-Westfalen. Willingen liegt an der Uplandbahn. Die Züge fahren täglich von Brilon Stadt über Brilon Wald und Korbach nach Marburg (Lahn). In Brilon bestehen Anschlüsse ins Ruhrgebiet und nach Paderborn (Schnellbus), in Korbach und Marburg Zuganschlüsse Richtung Kassel bzw. Frankfurt. |

In 1971 wird gestopt met het delven van leisteen. Sindsdien is de mijn opengesteld voor bezoekers. Vergeet vooral niet uw jas mee te nemen! Het zijn het gehele jaar door 8°C. |
