| Description | Vor 50 Jahren hat Alois Brefka damit begonnen, Bankdokumente zu sammeln. Später kamen Schreib- und Rechenmaschinen, Finanzpapiere und Spardosen dazu. Inzwischen ist die zum Privatmuseum umfunktionierte Doppelgarage hinter seinem Haus mit einer eindrucksvollen Kollektion von Schreib- und Rechenhilfen längst vergangener Tage gefüllt.
Zu sehen sind nicht nur historische Büromaschinen, sondern Brefka hat auch die Geschichte von der D-Mark zum Euro nachgezeichnet. Außerdem hat er eine Sonderausstellung zum Thema „Warum Erster Weltkrieg? Mangelwirtschaft, Kriegsfinanzierung, Welche Rolle spielten die Banken?“ konzipiert. Die älteste Schreibmaschine aus Brefkas Sammlung stammt aus dem Jahr 1886.
