| Description | In den neugestalteten Räumen steht die Gründung der radial angelegten Festungsstadt im Mittelpunkt. Rüstungen, Kanonen, Uniformen und Fahnen zeugen von einer bewegten Geschichte unter dänischer Herrschaft. Objekte aus Handwerk und Gewerbe, Gemälde, kostbare Möbel, Silber, Porzellan und Trachten erzählen von einer reichen Vergangenheit. Die heute noch präsente Heringsfischerei wird anhand von Schiffsmodellen, Kantjes (Heringsfässer), Kehlmessern, Netzen und Salzschaufeln veranschaulicht. |
