| Description | Das Museum befindet sich im 1837 errichteten Huthaus der ehemaligen Silbergrube 'Einigkeit Fundgrube'. Damit ist das Gebäude selbst schon museales Objekt und Zeugnis des im ersten Drittel des 19. Jahrhunderts erneut aufblühenden Erzbergbaus. Die 1. Ausstellung widmet sich dem Silberbergbau im Brander Revier Die 2. Ausstellung umfasst die Stadt- und Industriegeschichte und zeigt den Wandel von einer Berg- zur Industriestadt. Fahrzeug-, Maschinen- und Stuhlbau, Glashütten sowie Textilindustrie wurden u. a. neu angesiedelt. |
