Description

Unique in Europe

To discover moments of technical history; to experience reasonably reproduced manufacturing techniques and working conditions of the past: this is the Landschaftsverband Westfalen-Lippe’s open air Museum in Hagen.

It is Europe’s sole open air museum devoted to the history of handicraft and technique. Located within the scenic valley Mäckingerbachtal, it shows industrial undertakings as they were existent in the area of Westphalia-Lippe from the 18th century to the present. The scope reaches from metal processing to food production, to paper production, to book printing.

Description
(other)

Een unicum in Europa

Het LWL-openluchtmuseum Hagen dat betekent:

* momentopnamen uit de geschiedenis van het ambacht en de nijverheid ontdekken;

* historische productie- en werkomstandigheden begrijpen en beleven.
