| Description | Die Heinrichshütte geht bis auf das Jahr 1729 zurück. Erst 1982 wurde der Produktionsbetrieb eingestellt und die Heinrichshütte als Technisches Museum und Schaudenkmal eingerichtet. Zweimal monatlich findet in den alten Hallen ein Schaugießen statt, bei dem der Besucher die Produktionsgeschichte des Eisengießens nacherleben kann. Schauobjekt "Walzenzugmaschine für Duo-Walzstraße" Europas größte und stärkste Dampfmaschine mit 15.000 PS wird zur Führung mit einem Elektromotor angetrieben und in Bewegung gezeigt - für Duo-Walzwerk in der Maxhütte Unterwellenborn - um 1925 von der Firma Sack&Kieselbach in Düsseldorf-Rath gebaut - ca. 20 Meter lang und ca. 10 Meter breit - Zwillingstandem-Reversiermaschine mit Kondensation - 4 doppelt wirkende Zylinder in Tandem- und Zwillingsanordnung - Hub: 140 Zentimeter - Stephenson´sche Kulissensteuerung mit zwei Exzentern - Spiele pro Minute: je nach Walzbedarf 0 bis 125 - Leistung: 15.000 PS bei 80% Vakuum im Kondensator - Dampfdruck/Dampfverbrauch: 15 at, etwa 50 Tonnen/Stunde (max.) - Kessel Typ/Baujahr: Steinmüller-Schrägrohrkessel / 1918 - Kessel Maße/Heizfläche: Grundfläche 6 x 8 m, ca. 12 m hoch / 400 Quadratmeter |
