| Description | Das Walchenseekraftwerk nutzt den Höhenunterschied von 200 Metern zwischen dem Walchensee und dem Kochelsee zur Stromerzeugung. Es gehört zu den größten Hochdruck-Speicher-Kraftwerken Deutschlands. Das Maschinenhaus kann besichtigt werden. Im Informationszentrum nebenan vermitteln eindrucksvolle Turbinenmodelle, interaktive Touch-Screen-Terminals, Internet-Stationen und Kommunikationstafeln Wissen rund um die Wasserkraft. |
