The MUNCYT has two offices, one located in Alcobendas, which opened to the public on December 12, 2014, and the other in La Coruña, which opened on May 4, 2012. In addition the museum has a research center consisting of a specialized library, archive and store parts in the Paseo de las Delicias de Madrid.

Description

The museum exhibits in its various showrooms pieces of historical, scientific and technological related to astronomy, mathematics, navigation, physics, chemistry, biology, computer science, industry and transport.

The MUNCYT preserves over 15000 objects between scientific instruments, technological equipment, vehicles, machine tools and industrial tools. From the sixteenth century to the present, most of the pieces come from colleges and secondary schools, universities and scientific institutions, private collections and donations.
