Vom Pointe de Grave, der nördlichsten Landspitze der Halbinsel Médoc, besteht eine Fährverbindung nach Royan. Bordeaux liegt knapp 100 Straßenkilometer entfernt.

Auf der SNCF-Strecke Ligne du Médoc, die von Bordeaux nach Le Verdon-sur-Mer führt, soll ein Tram-Train-Betrieb eingeführt werden und das Straßenbahnnetz Bordeaux erweitern. Dabei soll ab dem Bahnhof Ravezies in Bordeaux die Linie C abzweigen und über Bruges auf einer 7,2 km langen Strecke bis zum Bahnhof Blanquefort führen. Somit würde von der Innenstadt in Bordeaux eine direkte, umsteigefreie Verbindung ermöglicht werden. Die Arbeiten sind noch in Gange und sollen 2017 fertiggestellt werden.

Tourist railway Pointe de Grave - Le Verdon - Soulac

This small tourist train connects Pointe de Grave to Soulac - les Arros. 7 km long, this railway makes it possible to discover at low pace, the forest, the Atlantic Ocean and to see the lighthouse of Cordouan offshore.

Once in Soulac it takes a quarter of an hour to reach the city center.
