Felixstowe is a seaside town in Suffolk, England.

Train
Felixstowe railway station is the terminus of the Felixstowe Branch Line passenger service to Ipswich; the line itself branches before the station, the other branch going on to the Port of Felixstowe.

The Musum is located in the old submarine mining establishment building at the Landguard Peninsula, between the Fort and Port.

Description

Situated in a former submarine mining establishment, the volunteer run museum houses a collection of Royal and Merchant Navy models, tells the story of HMS Beehive and the Coastal Forces, Felixstowe and the other Haven Ports. A paddle steamer model room and artefact collection is of special interest.

Felixstowe Museum installed an offshore radio display in their tearoom in 2015. This is being moved and expanded into the Museum itself from 2019, as part of a 1960's themed display.
