Description

Small Historical Museum of Photographic and Cinematographic Equipment
Cinema has recently celebrated one hundred years. There was a cinema running in Pesariis from 1947 managed by the hamlet's administration.

It is thanks to an extraordinary passion for cinema that this collection, the property of Odi Gonano, was created. Since he was a boy, he was seduced by this passion, and was also stimulated by curiosity and interest in photography which was passed on to him by the photographer Luigi Monaci, from whom he inherited a complete archive of photographic plates which he scrupulously looks after.

Numerous photographic cameras are collected and exhibited, from the most archaic to the most modern. Here, one also finds the photographic camera of the German spies, still functioning.

In this way, this small but interesting permanent exhibition was created. It also collects various projectors from cinematographic halls of the area which are now no longer in use. Thanks to the friendship and collaboration of friends and photography fans, Odi Gonano has managed to put together a variety of heterogeneous material.
