Das Leuchtschiff liegt nun als Museumsschiff an der Koningskade in Hellevoetsluis.

"Once an identification mark in the North Sea, helping seamen to establish their position at sea while at the same time warning seamen of dangerous sand banks along Zeeland’s coast."
Due to modern navigational aids, the lightship is no longer active at sea and is now a museum ship located in the harbour of Hellevoetsluis.

De Noord-Hinder (Lichtschip No 12) is het laatste lichtschip dat gebouwd is in Nederland. Het schip is in 1963 gebouwd in scheepswerf De Waal te Zaltbommel en grondig verbouwd in 1981. In 1994 werd dit laatste lichtschip definitief van zee gehaald en is nu een museumschip in Hellevoetsluis.

"Ooit een herkenningspunt in de Noordzee, ter bepaling van de plaats op zee en om de zeeman te waarschuwen voor de gevaarlijke Hinderbanken voor de Zeeuwse kust."
Overbodig geworden door de moderne navigatiemiddelen, thans museumschip in de haven van Hellevoetsluis.
