Gegründet im Jahr 1943, zeigt das Postmuseum die erste Geschichte der Kommunikation in Paraguay. Es enthält ein wichtiges philatelistisches Erbe von unschätzbarem Wert.
Es hat auch verschiedene Modelle der jeweiligen Epoche. Das Museum befindet sich im Patri Palace, 1904 erbaut. Er ist Teil des architektonischen Erbes der Stadt.
