Description

For the first time outside Stockholm, we show including an armored Lincoln bought here from the United States to run Nikita Khrushchev during a state visit in 1964. Only Khrushchev had the honor to run in the car as it crashed after the visit. We also show a Cadillac from 1966 that had driven several heads of state such as Indira Gandhi. The cars belong to the Police Museum in Stockholm. The exhibition runs until 30th September.

Motala Motor Museum has more on display than motorcycles, cars and other vehicles. Among other things, a photo museum that displays the camera's development. There is also a large collection of radios, tape recorders and record players. Many of them are manufactured in Motala factory Luxor.

For the smallest museum has arranged a play area filled with small tasty toy cars that will be a great joy for the kids when they get tired of looking at the big heavy cars and motorcycles.

On the 2400 square-meter space crowded big cool cars and motorcycles from all eras, many of them are unique and to crown it all, the museum has Europe's fastest car inside their walls. In total there are about 300 vehicles and all of them are executable.

It is also unique for the Motala Motor Museum is that it changes all the time. New items come and old ones disappear. This means that the museum can be visited year to year and visitors can always see something new. The facility is open all year and is Scandinavia's most popular motor museum with about 180 000 visitors per year.
