    Ein magnetisches Bildaufzeichnungsgerät für schwarz/weiß. Das Gerät ist komplett transistorbestückt (Germanium-Transistoren). Es werden 2-Zoll-Magnetbänder verwendet. Die Lebensdauer der Magnetköpfe beträgt etwa 500 Stunden.
    Die Aufzeichnung erfolgt in Schrägspurtechnik. Vermutlich sind die Aufzeichnungen mit den der VR1500 und VR6600 kompatibel.
