On the chassis layout chart (sticked to the bottom of the set) is written the following warning: "Any person installing or operating this Receiving Set without first having obtained a license from the Minister of transport of Canada is liable, on summary conviction, to a fine not exceeding twentyfive dollars, and the said receifing set may be forfeited to His Majesty by order of the Minister, for such disposition as the Minister may direct. (No. J-2712R - 1M-9-50-D.P.) A very similar cabinet can be found here for model 49-33 for manufacturer Electrohome. Only the grill seems to be slightly different. Both were sold by the T. Eaton Department Store
