Hikers "49" Amplifier
Here is a one-tube amplifier which can be used to pep up the volume from your "Hiker's One" or Crystal Set. It uses the 49 type tube in a space-charge circuit operating on 1½-volt "A" supply, and only 15 volts "B" supply, and will operate a small sensitive magnetic speaker If you have a "local" statlon close handy.
Batteries:
- 15-volt Vidor "C"
- 1½-volt Vidor No.6 cell (If necessary)
