Unsaturated mercury standard cell built according to the process devised by Edward Weston. Unsaturated cells offer very low temperature coefficient.
Nominal output voltage is 1,01913 V at 20 degrees C when new. Unsaturated cells required periodic calibrations against a saturated primary standard.
