E' l'erede diretto, completamente transistorizzato, del glorioso modello G.255 U "gelosino", del quale riprende l'idea della pulsantiera/pedaliera di comando a distanza riuscendo finalmente ad integrarla nel corpo del microfono-altoparlante. Progettato dalla Geloso e venduto in America dalla Edison, nel 1961 arriva anche sul mercato italiano distribuito con il marchio Geloso. Una velocità: 2,38 cm/sec. Doppia traccia. Volume audizione e registrazione separati.
