The Viking II transmitters were made from 1952 to 1957. They cover from 160 through 10 meters. They operate on CW and AM. They are rated 180 watts CW and 135 watts AM input power. Output power is 130 watts CW and 100 watts AM. These rigs have a PI network. They are TVI suppressed and housed in a copper clad steel cabinet. These rigs were popular in civil defense installations. Johnson even came out with a CD model of the Viking II.
