- The model Lafayette D-11 (later in catalog no. 68 for 1937 Spring-Summer called DA-11) is 5-tube AC Superhet with 3 wave bands, covering broadcast 540 - 1500 kc (200 to 560 m), SW 66 to 187 m (1.6 to 4.5 mc) and 18 to 50 m (6 to 16.6 mc). The Lafayette model J-33 is the same but with long wave band 780 to 2143 meters for European broadcasts instead of the band for 66 to 187 meters - and operating at 110-220 or 250 volts 50-60 cycles. For additional $ 2.00 operation of the D-11 on 220 volts is possible. The models have a large airplane dial with arrow pointer, bands in colors.
