One of the NPL-designed Data Handling Modules to the BS4421 standard.
Three-width NIM unit for rack mounting.
Accepts up to16 bipolar analogue signals and converts sequentially to 8-bit binary on the parallel output lines for connection to Computer, printer or tape punch via other BS4421 modules.
(This unit was initially made as a prototype with the type references DAS1100 and AMX1100. Production was undertaken by Holmec of Hitchin)
