  • National Model RQ100 Tape Recorder

    Battery-operated two-speed tape recorder having six transistors, housed in plastic cabinet with carrying handle.

    Features: speeds, 3¾ and 1⅞ ips; recording times, 30 mins at 3¾ ips, one hour at 1⅞ ips. Operates from six Type UM1 cells. Built-in speaker, 3". Input impedance, 30KΩ unbalanced; output 8Ω unbalanced. Recording system system, AC bias; DC erasure system. Fast forward and rewind. Capstan drive on reels.

    Wow and flutter at 3¾ ips, less than 0.4%. Recording can be monitored by earphone. Jack is provided for connection of National home adaptor, which functions as external power source or external speaker and foot switch (optional extra).
