    Two-speed twin-track tape recorder with push-button keyboard controls. Cabinet of heat resistant non-breakable plastic. Features: speeds, 7½ and 3½ ips. Recording up to a maximum of 8 hours with 2,400 ft tape. Fitted with recording index counter for easy location of specific recordings, Contains the National sound monitor system, which provides the following: hearing the recording as it is being made, thereby being able to adjust the recording to personal taste; full public address system utilising the Hi-Fi microphone supplied; serves as auxiliary amplifier for record players or portable radios; by using induction coil, amplification of telephone conversations is possible.

    This model has also been fitted with Type 6267 valve for reduction of hum and noise, especially after periods of continuous operation.

    Specifications: power input 100 to 250V
    (50 to 60 cycles (Hz) universal AC). This feature means that this tape recorder can be connected to any power source throughout the world. Rated output: 1W (2.5W max.). Frequency response: 7½ ips. 70 - 12,000 cycles (Hz). 3½ ips. 70 - 9,000 cycles. Speaker: 4" x 6" permanent dynamic.
