• 140mm Ferrite Rod aerial with External Aerial & Earth sockets
  Two position voltage selector
  Pilot lamp/bulb is "8097D/00" on tube/valve chart on rear cover.

  The 19V 100mA pilot bulb / scale lamp might not be obtainable. Because it's a series type circuit a lower voltage part such as 6V or 12V at 150mA can be used, or even a 24V 100mA to 150mA lamp.

  As the chassis is potentially live, the Aerial and Earth connector  capacitors might need replaced with 1kV "Y" rated types.

  This UK model was economic for the Irish Market as Ireland only started VHF-FM tests in 1962 and full service 1966 or 1967, the LW allowing daytime BBC Light program (later Home/R4) to be received all over Ireland as an alternative to  the single Irish station. However examples in Ireland are clearly marked made in UK.

  The Stella ST105U (Stella was a Philips UK Brand) is very similar but a transportable Bakelite case and loop frame aerial, probably a year or two earlier.
