The converter mixes the incoming signals from 12,5 to 980 kHz to an IF of 2980 to 2012,5 kHz, the frequency can be read from the red coloured dial of the RA-17. Internal preselector with a logging dial switchable for 10-20 kHz, 20-40 kHz, 40-90 kHz, 90-210 kHz, 210-500 kHz and 500-980 kHz segments. American version with tubes 6BA6 6AU6 6AS6 6AS6 0A2 6AU6. |
