It's absolutely sure that's word here about model "Lotos" made by "Ei-elektroindustrija". I have some schematic diagrams for model "Lotos", but use different tubes. Seems that this model use some kind of his standard "korina" chassis. If you want, put chassis outside, and make few good photos from different sides. I will try to find out which type of chassis use this model. Here is one picture of "Lotos" but with another tube lineup. Attachments

Dear Berislav Well done, good information! The maker is existing in the data base. Therefore: Can you please put in a new model Lotos to this maker and load up a bigger picture of your set plus a picture from the rear and from the chassis? The existing set we should leave for Germany but with a text to explain the facts - and with the name - Lotos (Lolos) - instead of Lotos only. Thi i recommend because the member who has brought in the set was first reading Lolos. Therefore other users will sometimes look for the same ... It will be interesting to find out sooner or later which organisation did marketing/sales of this model in Germany - and then we can move from "Unknown" to that "Maker"/Brand. |

Thank you, Berislav, that's perfect. You surely will put a courtesy remark into the picture legend. Maybe your friend can also tell measurements, material and form (?). Nice to find out the differences between the Lotos which has been exported to Germany and the domestic one. There one finds also a forums article in German which reveils Ei ELEKTRONSKA INDUSTRIJA FABRIKA "NIKOLA TESLA" BEOGRAD as maker. There are also some photos displayed in post 3. |

Out of curiosity, is this radio based on any Philips models that were produced under license by EI Nis(AKA Elektronska Industrija Nis) at the time?
This same company (EI Nis) created the "KT90" power vacuum tube ten years ago for the audio world, and rumor has it , that EI Nis uses the same equipment that was used for making the famous "smooth plate" Telefunken vacuum tubes. As for the "Iskra" capacitor (as seen in the German thread) the company still exists in Slovenia, and is very well known for its high quality capacitors made for industrial and commercial use. |
