I uploaded a few photos but cannot find it, why ?

Radiomuseum . org offers each member the service to upload photos or schematics to a model . When you upload your files and immediately try to locate it on the model page you will not find any of you photos there . This is because a model administrator has to check each photo or scan first . He judges the quality and filesize and checks whether this scan or photo was uploaded to the correct model and not accidentally uploaded to a wrong one . If he agrees, he will place the file on the model page . From now on it is linked to the model and every visitor can view, download or print your scan or photo . It usually takes about 24 hours before a file is checked and becomes visible .

 

If you upload a photo you´ll have two options :

 

Picture from another source: This uploaded picture will appear on the model page but NOT on your RM . org homepage !

 

Picture from my own collection: This uploaded picture will appear on the model page AND on your RM . org homepage !

You can change the status ( Picture from my own collection / Picture from another source)  of all of your pictures at any time:

 

Click on you name in the Start ( Search) Page, your profile will be opened:

 

 

Now click on "Picture Administration" in the bottom tray .

 

 

You´ll see a list of all of your uploaded photos / pictures .

 

 

Click on one of the pictures, another dialogue will appear:

 

 

Here you can change the status (Picture from my own collection / Picture from another source ) at any time . You can change the caption ( legend) as well .   Changes are saved with "Speichern" ( will one day be changed into "Save"):

 

 

Upoading and providing pictures to others are a great help for other collectors . We appreciate uploading picture so other collectors can benefit from it - we call it Teamwork !
