  • The Century 47 is an AC/DC operated 4 tube BC band receiver.  The BC band frequency tuning range is 550 - 1750 kHz.

    This model looks very similar to the Autocrat 4-Z model. The cabinet and chassis look the same.  According to Mallory-Yaxley references, model 4-Z with this same tube lineup was available from the Simplex Radio Company and also by Zephyr Radio Company
