  • Notes
  • This Radiofix receiver has a frequency range of 180kHz to 400 kHz for AM signals. In combination with the fluid compass it is possible to tune known long-wave AM beacon-signals and calculate a geographic position by nulling the signals via rotation of the ferrite-antenna.
It can also receive a number of the LW broadcast stations such as BBC at 198 kHZ. See also older versions - maybe there are also newer versions. The weight of the earphones is 57 grams.
