Notes Insulation: 10 000 Ohm-100 MOhm. Bridge: 0,01Ohm-100 MOhm. Measures insulation. In addition, this instrument can be used for Varley tests. (Finding the location of a break in a telephone line, for example.) Turning the handle on the instrument generates 500 Volts, which is applied to the unknown resistance to be measured. The meter movement measures the small current produced and displays the result as megohms.
