Il G57R (come il G50R e il G55R) poteva utilizzare i mobili in noce nr 3040 (andamento orizzontale), nr 3011 (verticale) e 3706 (console con giradischi).

Geloso G57R: ricevitore supereterodina a 5 valvole OCTAL serie americana 6A8 6K7 6Q7 6V6 5Y3, soprammobile di grandi dimensioni. Alimentazione AC con cambiotensioni 110-125-140-160-220 V 42-60 Hz. Altoparlante elettrodinamico (con bobina di campo) di generose dimensioni. E' stato prodotto con differenti gruppi ad alta frequenza per differenti gamme d'onda: il tipo più comune presenta le onde medie + 3 gamme ad onde corte. Questa radio progettata sul finire degli anni'30 è stata ispiratrice di moltissime radio artigianali o semiartigianali prodotte poi nel dopoguerra in Italia da piccole ditte o artigiani, fino ai primi anni '50, usando a volte un mix di valvole europee e americane, od anche residuati bellici, tipo la VT86 (6K7) e simili. Telai e parti staccate per apparecchi simili (la disposizione dei componenti sul telaio era identica!) sono stati prodotti per anni da svariate ditte. Telai di questo genere sono stati usati anche per moltissimi radiogrammofoni anni '50, i cosiddetti "fonobar" per il fatto che presentavano anche vani dove era possibile riporre bottiglie di liquori; generalmente questi vani all'interno erano rivestiti di specchietti secondo la moda del tempo.
