    Riders schematic is in error: Both 50L6 filaments are shown in series but should be in parallel (2x 150 mA to suit the complete 300 mA series circuitry), as correctly shown in SAM's.
    In case of a broken 50L6 filament the other tube will almost immediately burn out. This might have led to another variant (2) using two 25L6 with the filaments in series. See there.
